Fish catching involved grappling, but also holding a trout while bumping into other contestants. Pie eating was constitution saving throws with risk based rerolls. Sorcerer chess involved making minions out of spell slots (abilities based on spell school)

Wood cutting was a series of attack rolls with the ability to risk exhaustion to 'go faster' and woodsman experience lowering the HP. The obstacle course was checks made, but hidden under playing cards. Axe throwing was totalling three skill rolls, but some dice dont count.

I just did this so, well timed comrade. I did an even spread between 'Exhibits' - pure RP encounters, and 'Games' where they could participate for prizes. Each game had different rules to shake things up. rewards were petty (it's a country faire) but included a one use reroll for the next adventure

Living creatures grow new, orange flesh. It's not meat - more like fungus. It can cause discomfort, but eventually it gets into an organ you kind of need. Magic makes it worse, never better, as the new flesh alters magic, even absorbing it.
