also WTF they left him in the game???? he could have died!!!! wild training staff malpractice here
He played the next shift and three more shifts total in the period before being pulled in the third period and taken to the hospital.
Asked why the training staff didn't pull him from the bench immediately in the exhibition game, Guerin said, "Yeah ... there wasn't. You know, it just didn't... he seemed OK. As things progressed, we had to pull him."

This "founder LLC" setup seems particularly corrosive. In ordinary supervoting share structures, a split between supervoters can at least lead to the common stockholders getting a say on contentious issues — but here they're always voting their shares as a bloc, so ordinary votes become irrelevant.
Under this arrangement, a majority vote of the seven co-founders will direct a single share of Class F stock that amounts to 50.1% of the total voting power over key corporate matters, including the election of some board directors and other matters submitted to investors.

Don't we know about the fraud because he charged people? The AG doesn't manage social service programs. His job is to respond if fraud occurs. I find this whole campaign re: fraud a sad indicator of public literacy on how government works and who does what.

A fact I pulled from SPPS Board notes, because yes I am a person who sometimes reads board notes: 23-24 school year: 452 newly arrived English learners 25-26: 13 newly arrived English learners. THIRTEEN.
Text box that reads: The presentation concluded with a detailed breakdown of English Learner (EL) enrollment and staffing.
Presenters highlighted a multi-year decline in EL enrollment-driven in part by federal halts on US refugee admissions that drastically reduced newly arrived English learners from 452 in 2023-2024 to just 13 in 2025-2026. Because EL staffing is calculated using a weighted ratio (giving higher weight to students with lower English proficiency) and relies on average daily membership trends, reduced numbers have led to 26 split-position EL teaching roles across schools this year. To support staff and ensure contract compliance, administrators conducted multi-party scheduling meetings with split-position teachers and principals, with final fall adjustments planned following the official October 1 student count.

What this provost’s use of AI has also made scandalously clear is that AI is wrecking higher ed so fast a lot of faculty have no idea how far it’s gone. Or that many of the students using it hate it—but use it because higher ed has sat on its hands & allowed its hierarchies to become AI incentives.

The degree to which police departments have financial incentives to over-respond to situations where their presence is straight up not needed at ALL, because they can make a bunch of extra money for zero personal risk, is something that even the pro-cop brigade should be concerned about.
