Imagine what we could do with that revenue: free childcare for Minneapolis families, a citywide municipal sidewalk plowing pilot, significantly more affordable housing, and other public goods that actually lower the cost of everyday life. These aren’t unrealistic demands.

Wow. LOISH got accused of using Ai to make her art. I started following her on early deviantart. I remember first seeing her paintings in college. This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.

My cousin and her husband moved to Saint Paul from BK this summer, and they’ve been biking. He says, “There’s no consistency with drivers here. Some are so friendly it’s aggressive while others are distracted/angry. At least in NYC I knew everybody was trying to kill me and could act accordingly.”

Holy shit. Friend of a friend encountered a driver on Sabo Bridge today. Driver apparently seemed very confused and lost. Howwww did they get past the concrete barricades on both ends? (For non Mpls folks: this bridge is bike/ped only & paths up are narrow w/ bollards on both ends.)
