I really hate this sort of take. someone saying "we're better than this" is speaking aspirationally! you are not clever for insisting we aren't, you are giving people an excuse not to try to be.

Gov. Polis’ statement re: today’s revelations. No specific mention of Tina Peters, whom he freed.
“If there was any discussion of seizing ballot boxes or, even worse, a civil war in the context of our free elections, that’s dangerous and unbefitting the office of the President of the United States. We need to learn to disagree better, and I call on the President and his team to do what they can to tone down the rhetoric, as I always try to do here in our state.

Colorado has nation-leading, gold-standard, secure elections. Coloradans from every part of the political spectrum securely and conveniently vote in each election, making our voices heard and exercising our constitutional right. In Colorado, we will protect the right to vote, and attempts to undermine election integrity, fear monger, and make it harder for Coloradans to exercise our right to vote from anyone are irresponsible and not acceptable. These suggestions are an absurd and desperate attempt to distract from the fact that this year's midterms will be a devastating reflection on skyrocketing costs under the leadership of Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress.”

“The housing shortage is reflected in high prices and rents, but also in people forced to live with parents, roommates or even ex-partners because they cannot afford to form an independent household.” In a world where so many articles BS on housing, this one is refreshing.

Seems like if you're going to make a national story out of Hasan Piker, who campaigned a few times with the Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan, saying Israel causes antisemitism, you should also make a national story out of the favorite intellectual of the US Vice President supporting Hitler.

“How you vote when fascists are on the ballot” isn’t something we can be agnostic on. Telling people “it’s fine to sit this one out” is actively dangerous misinformation and you should be called out for spreading it. Voting and encouraging others to do so is the bare minimum in fighting fascism.
