Quite emotional to report that we've just found our amazing survivor Marsh Tit, still here in his ancient woodland kingdom. He's now 11 yrs 4 months old, survived the 2026 heatwaves/drought and smelt the wildfires of nearby Holme Fen. I ringed him in my 30s and I'm now in my 50s.

£72 million from 2 individuals - both of whom have faced questions about money laundering, both of whom live/d overseas to avoid tax - is not compatible with democracy. I don't care if it's Reform, Labour or whoever. We can't function like this. Not for long. So how do we fix it? My plan:

Did u know? Seed heads, not only look beautiful, they are essential to wildlife friendly gardens. They shelter small souls during cold, wet winter months & they feed birds, like goldfinches when other food is scarce. So don't lop 'em off, leave 'em in situ.....Believe in *brown*. 🤎🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍🐦‍⬛🪲🕷️

This stopped me in my tracks. An independent study by @qmul.bsky.social has found that after ULEZ was introduced, children’s lungs grew faster in Central London and have now caught up with children outside of the capital. Incredible.
