I think part of the pundit crack-up has been that they missed the big call of their lifetimes about which was the bigger threat to America: wokeness or authoritarianism. And rather than admitting that, they are doubling down on wokeness, while ignoring an authoritarianism that does not threaten them

So I think possessive "its" should be spelled "it's". I don't think any confusion would follow: there are lots of ambiguous words. Not sure I would extend the reasoning to "him's", "her's", and "them's". But it's early days in our perfecting English.

Here's the thing I will continue saying every time this came up: Kamala Harris did not mention trans people in her campaign. She went out of her way to avoid it. She dodged every question on trans rights. And then she still lost. So what Newsom wants is *open hostility* to trans rights

Democrats should propose amendments to the SAVE act that require the government to furnish free IDs to all eligible voters before requiring them, automatically register all people to vote, expand mail-in voting, and create a national voting holiday. Then watch republicans block them.
