I made the psychological drama, THE WORDS HE SAID, unlisted on YouTube, but you can still watch it. When a grieving woman is invited out of town by a charismatic man she meets, her idyllic retreat dissolves into something sinister. #filmsky youtu.be/adFbXhlRhwA?...

Wow. The ICE shooter in Maine asked his ex-wife to "to lie for him and to cover for his character." She said he was abusive and had previously reported concerns about him to his military superiors. He was also a volunteer firefighter, but was removed after several spats with department leadership.

An original oil painting on a panel titled "After the Darkness" by artist Alex Movchun.
The sky is filled with dense, textured clouds broken up by a bright, central glow where the light is strongest. The Trees are dark, silhouetted foliage lines the right bank, with the upper leaves catching hints of red and orange light. The lower half features a river showing ripples and sharp, vertical reflections of the sky and trees.

Lucille Ball--actress, comedian, producer & film-studio executiver--died #OTD in 1989. In 1962, she bought out Desi Arnaz's interest in Desilu Productions & became the 1st woman to own & run a major TV studio. Desilu produced many popular TV series including Mission: Impossible & #StarTrek. #legend
This classic black-and-white studio portrait captures the legendary Lucille Ball (1911–1989), an American actress, comedian, and pioneering studio executive. Best known for her iconic role in I Love Lucy, Ball was the first woman to lead a major television studio, Desilu Productions. In this elegant, close-up composition, Ball looks directly at the camera with a calm and poised expression. Her light-colored hair is styled in elaborate, high-volume rolls that sweep upward from her forehead, typical of the sophisticated 1940s glamour. She wears a shimmering, light-toned jacket with a subtle grid pattern that catches the light. Her ensemble is accented by large, round, sparkling cluster earrings that draw attention to her face. The lighting is soft yet focused, highlighting her perfectly applied makeup—defined brows, dark mascara, and a polished, dark lip color. The background is softly out of focus, featuring a neutral, textured wall with organic, leaf-like shadows that create a sense of depth.

☢️#193. Shaun of the Dead, 2004. Somehow pulling off the impossible task of lampooning the #zombie genre while still embracing it with total earnestness. A gem of a film that gets a repeat viewing practically every time it crosses my mind. It’s a sickness really. 5/5 ☢️
