The 1st two were both from Elton John. #StevieWonder Queenie's Castle was a sitcom set in 1970s Leeds. The series was made by Yorkshire TV and ran from 1970 to 1972. Starring Diana Dors as Queenie Shepherd, the series revolved around the lives and, often illegal activities of the residents of a Social Housing Development in Leeds. #DianaDors Alan Lancaster died on 26th September 2021. In 1975 he produced One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, having acquired the rights to the novel from his father. The film received critical and popular acclaim & won the Academy Award for Best Picture, earning Douglas his first Oscar. #MichaelDouglas 25 September 1970, the very first episode of The Partridge Family was shown on US TV. It featured Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, Susan Dey and Danny Bonaduce. He was known for roles in British comedy TV series such as The Frost Report, The Two Ronnies, Porridge, & Open All Hours. Porridge was always one of my favourite sitcoms from the 70s.
