corporate tax revenue was at around 1.7% of GDP when BBB was enacted. Now it's down to 1.2% of GDP.

More than 1.5 million kids were missed in the last U.S. census. The undercount was 2.1% for children <18, and 5.4% for those <5, the highest rate of any age group. Now the Census Bureau is proposing major changes to 2030 Census rules that could make some children even harder to count.

The deep SNAP cuts enacted last year have harmful ripple effects for low-income families & the broader community. Kids losing SNAP also lose automatic enrollment for free meals at school. As more kids lose SNAP, schools may be forced to drop Community Eligibility & end free meals for all students.

Great reporting on families with kids — many of whom are still eligible for SNAP — who have nonetheless lost the help they need to afford groceries. Now, they're facing impossible decisions when buying food means a utility bill goes unpaid or a broken car engine can't get fixed.
In Texas, a 6-year-old stood in front of her family’s refrigerator, hoping food would magically appear. In Delaware, an 11-year-old wondered why her family could no longer afford Cinnamon Toast Crunch. In New Jersey, four siblings wanted their mother to buy groceries — but she had to tell them she couldn’t. Across America, the government’s policies are making children hungry. Some parents said they have tried to hide what’s happening. The mother in New Jersey didn’t tell her children that she had been eating ice to save food for them. In Texas, the 6-year-old didn’t know that her mom had been losing weight. The 11-year-old in Delaware, though, knew something was wrong. When she realized her family had stopped buying her favorite cereal, she asked, “Mom, are we OK?”
