UK presenting an alternate EV future that could have been California's, had the federal government not (at least temporarily) dismantled our EV policies. The UK otherwise has the same goal that California had: 100% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2035. Still, CA is not too far behind.

Victory for California here in at least temporarily stopping EPA from sending long-standing federal approvals of California emission regulations to Congress to be overturned. A separate case by CA challenging last year's congressional votes overturning different approvals is still pending.

I'm working to end unfunded inclusionary zoning in El Cerrito, which has produced zero affordable units. A year ago City Council reduced inclusionary fees to 25% and reduced or eliminated other fees for four projects. It worked! One of those projects is going to Planning Commission next week.

I look at this map of bike paths and lanes in LA County and I want to say something like "thanks, fragmented governance among 88 different cities," but a huge share of this is the city of LA and it doesn't look any better. If your trip is more than a few blocks then you're probably dodging cars.
