It's true that rehabilitation and change and growth and all of these things should be factors in how we gauge whether or not someone deserves to move on from their crime. But accountability starts with taking responsibility, which Gellar sought to avoid for a decade.

Rewatching TGCF S1, my reaction is "head in absolute hands". I love those two dorks, but they're so obnoxious and oblivious about it😭😭😭 Disclaimer: it *is* a joke, I did read the books, it's just that the slow burn is akin to Narumitsu: painfully in love, incredibly reticent+unwilling to say stuff.
