The A1 example of this is to contrast ‘16 and ‘20. Lots of liberal handwringing and calls to understand the other side after Trump I ( speaks to a value many on the left have) but after Biden won in ‘20 the other side tried to overthrow the government and the left was asked to understand that too. 😂

Tried to read an article on my phone. This was the experience. I know they gotta sell ads to avoid pay walls I get it but god damn this is miserable.

As someone who cobbles together exactly this sort of stuff for a living, I think this is right. A year from now, my guess is that about 30% of what I do will be developed using AI and I will get literally months of additional time back to do more proactive work. Not enough to fire me but a big deal.

I live in DFW without a car. I take the bus when I can but way more often than I'd like I have to take rideshare because the bus just doesn't go everywhere.,Even with that my spending on transportation last year was $2200. Cars are terrible for everyone, including car owners.
