The first baby dairy cow isopods (calves, if you will) have been spotted. Well, they haven’t been spotted yet but their guts are visible through their bodies so they have been striped

The mom isopod’s butt is visible with her head underneath a fresh cover oak leaf. On a decomposing leaf behind her there are at least 6 babies grazing. They look like small versions of adults except they are see through and you can see their guts as a darker stripe down their backs. They are smaller than a grain of rice

Also- I am ok! I even got a good grade in therapy for how I responded to this when it first became clear something was off. I was able to make some changes that are already helping physically. The last hour of waiting drove me a little bit insane, but my dad is out of heart surgery and it went smoothly. It was a scary diagnosis (could have killed him soon), but basically because it was a mechanical issue this one procedure is supposed to completely fix the issue

Can’t stop thinking about this. The Trump administration is essentially extorting hospitals into dropping gender-affirming care—without Medicare or Medicaid they’d go bankrupt. It’s akin to a backdoor ban even for people with private insurance, a proposal that wouldn’t pass Congress.
