This year's El Niño continues its climb into uncharted waters; Niño3.4 region anomalies are now at a 3.4C above normal (how fitting!), higher than any prior El Niño event on record. September monthly Niño3.4 anomalies also set a record at 2.9C (beating 2015 and 1877's 2.75C).

It really gives the game away when the anti trans orgs are calling the election of the neo nazi party in Germany a "glimmer of hope."
A screenshot of an online article headline from "Inspecting Gender" by Genspect. The main heading reads: "Germany: A Glimmer of Hope for Sex Realists?" Below the title, the summary text asks: "Is the victory of the AfD in Germany a dark day for democracy or a glimmer of hope for sex realists? By David Allison." The bottom metadata displays the Genspect logo, "5 hours ago," and a "Listen" audio option button. In the top right corner, there is a teal "Subscribe" button alongside a circular profile avatar.

NZ first want to replace the Waitangi tribunal with a completion commission that will only work through and finalise claims prior to 2008. Sounds like they don’t want Te Triti to apply after that date. Does that mean we go back to 100% Maori governance?

i think reporters owe it to the NZ public to stop using euphemisms like "unusual" or adding 'humanising' details to soften what these public figures are doing - associating with extremists and calling their political opponents "barely human". This is very clearly fascist behaviour.

Got a .kiwi domain? FedEx don't think you are real. They don't accept top level domains longer than 3 characters or have hypens in them.
Hi There,

Please check the reply from the backend.

As a part of the security vulnerability fix from the previous defect, we have implemented a regex pattern for email validation. Due
to this validation, certain email address are not being accepted.
The regex pattern rejects:
TLDs longer than 3 characters - such as.Komatsu, .email and .asia Hyphen or extra sub-domain in the domain part

You are kindly advised to try using a valid email address that is accepted by the current validation pattern.

Craig Renney explaining how Nats and crew are very bad with money.
"We're not a poor country, but we absolutely make poor choices when it comes to spending.

Let me give you a very brief example. Boot camps.

The first round of boot camps cost $4.1 million for ten children.

That's $410,000 per child.

For that money, let's assume they lived in Palmerston North.

I could pick them up in Palmerston North in a limousine. I could drive them to Wellington Airport. I could fly them first class, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, to London.

In London, I could pick them up in another limousine, Rolls-Royce Wraith II if you must, and drive them to Windsor.

At Windsor, I could drop them off at Eton private school. I could pay for an entire year at Eton and give them $1,000 a week in spending money.

At the end of the year, I could pick them up in the limousine, fly them first class all the way back to Wellington, drive them home to Palmerston North, and then hand them a cheque for $125,000.

Luxon didn't live in Wellington in the 1980s. He moved there to work for Unilever in 1993, the year after he left the University of Canterbury. The car racing relied on ratepayer funding, which was withdrawn in 1995, the year he moved to Sydney.
