I'm sure it's just a coincidence that this story doesn't mention Mathew Hooten. Personally I think the story should include a disclaimer mentioning his role in Dirty Politics and now at Stuff. IIRC none of those named sued Hagar, so we can assume it's all true. www.stuff.co.nz/politics/361...

Really enjoyed Mackenzie Crook's latest series Small Miracles, so now rewatching The Detectorists. Both series are so fkn good. Really well drawn, quiet and gentle but beautifully funny and perfectly cast & produced. Treat, as they say, yo'self.

You know how National seem to use ACT to roll out the hardcore policies they like but can't campaign on, to what degree (if any) do Labour do that? I can see that they won't campaign on a wealth tax (just 1 example) because it's controversial, but surely they'd love to see that go through?
