This reminds me of a youtuber I saw once complaining that Garfield Kart would shut down his computer with a controller plugged in and it turns out the problem was that the most upvoted steam config for Garfield Kart at the time was a community config that bound every button to "Shutdown Computer"

I saw a post remarking that the intro of "Holding Out For a Hero" kind of sounds like Touhou music, and it occurred to me that both the Touhou series and Jim Steinman's body of work occupy a liminal space characterised by a sort of perpetual adolescence, but in diametrically opposite directions.
