Back when Wes Streeting became SoS DHSC, he said the NHS was “broken”, and many NHS insiders took great offence at it with many excuses for why it was not. I spent yesterday talking to folk in significant health difficulties with waits for pretty basic but important surgery of around a year. 1/3
