When you share your feedback about health and social care services with us, what happens to it?
A poster depicting a flowchart of what happens when you share health and social care feedback with Healthwatch Sheffield.
The information conveyed is as follows: you share feedback with us via several available communication routes which we store in our database securely and confidentially. We can point you in the right direction for further support if needed. Your feedback helps shape the work we do - for example, it may be shared at boards and committees to influence local strategy, we may publish a report using anonymised feedback which is shared directly with stakeholders and commissioners, or write up an anonymised conversation we had in the community and publish it to our website. Finally, we keep you informed about what changes as a result of your feedback.
There is a safeguarding and confidentiality note explaining that when sharing feedback, if it's suggested that either you or someone else might be unsafe, we may need to share information with other services, but will work with you and/or anyone else involved to ensure everyone receives the support they need. The poster also states that we routinely share feedback with the Care Quality Commission and Healthwatch England. If the information provided relates to services outside of Sheffield we will share this information with the relevant local Healthwatch.
