My girlfriend has started to notice that I'm on my phone in the middle of the night and I'm taking it into the bath with me. She probably thinks im having an affair but in reality I'm trying to hide all the expensive warhammer 40k stuff I'm buying for my new Ork army.

@warlordgames.com Apparently now also ships to Canada from the UK. We're still stuck paying in USD but that's still a step up from cross border freight piracy!

Painting non-Second World War for once...

A small green space goblin sits on a yellow painting handle. The goblin has a purple loin cloth, gold goggles with blue lenses. He is holding a grappling hook gun

A selection of space ork figures sit on a pint smear bit of newspaper

Feeling very David Suzuki this morning.

An older white man with thinning hair, a medium length white goatee and glasses. He's feeling the weight of the world at the moment.

Just received my first ever Temu order. Same stuff as Amazon at less than half the price and Bezos doesn't get a cut. I'm impressed. And yes there is no ethical consumption under capitalism.

Great advice. Nice thing with a fake ad read is that they don't see it coming. Playing music to demonitize is great (use Disney. Nuclear attack), but requires you grabbing your own phone, finding something, playing it etc. "This video is sponsored by X. This is paid advertising" is instant damage.

The United States is taking aim at Canada once again, with a crushing new set of tariffs. Ultimately, government will need to solve this. But in the same way Canadians are avoiding US alcohol, produce, and other goods, they should get off US tech products too. Luckily, I have a guide for that.

The point isn't to produce essays, it's to teach students how to think for fuck's sake. The minute you automate that, it's over. You might as well close the course. Which they're also doing. This is an attack on learning, and everyone is just shrugging.

An edit of the classic Russian "HET!" propaganda poster, showing smart young white man in a suit eating his dinner. A hand offering a small crystal glass of liquid is declined. The text has been edited to read "AI is poison. just say no".
