Well, it’s a quick take, and no doubt data will come in, but it sure looks like based on today’s evidence that a lot of pro-Trump and pro-AfD bot work depends directly on Russian data centers.

The Trump administration gave a high level security clearance and unprecedented access to your sensitive PII and financials to a kid who ran foreign CSAM boards, was fired from his only prior real job for stealing company data, and was linked to a Russian cybercrime ring.

As objectionable as this is, it allows only individual searches. Mass purges at this point in the cycle are prohibited under existing statute. Congress under Dems needs to begin defunding all these menacing devices that threaten privacy and voting rights.

Thousands of government sites run on USWDS. It's what makes them 508 compliant, trustworthy and easy to update. We're scrambling to make backups in case of catastrophe, but this will be a hugely time-consuming and costly mistake if they intend to rip it out and replace it with vibe coded trash.

GenAI is a tech bubble of hype and absurdity. It runs on nothing but vibes and dollar signs in billionaire's eyes. But that's why we must resist it. We broke NFTs, we broke the Metaverse, we can break this nonsense too.
The reason RAM prices went up 4x is that a massive amount of not-yet-manufactured memory was bought with money that doesn't really exist to put into GPUs that haven't been made yet, to be installed in data centers that haven't been built, powered by infrastructure that may never exist, to satisfy demand that isn't actually there, in order to generate profits that are mathematically impossible.

Divide $240 billion by the population of the US (~343 million) and it comes out to about $700 per US resident. It's like the admin has initiated one of those covid stimulus packages, but instead of it being dedicated to protect the US public, it's for DHS.

Actually, Americans are just like you. ~20-30% of them genuinely support fascism, as in ~every 🇪🇺 country. You are just more fortunate to have political institutions & a multiparty system that prevent that 20-30% from fully capturing the center-right party, becoming 51%, & controlling the government.
