This is set up for laughs, but it’s actually one of the best demonstrations I’ve seen of how being capable of producing convincing sounding language and understanding meaning are two completely different things. Those who moved to Texas, especially Austin, come back pretty quick once they find out their property taxes are higher there than here. Housing prices nearly the same, too. We've had an HVAC business for 35 years. Components of furnaces and condensers used to be made of stainless steel, copper, porcelain; now it's metal alloys, resin instead of porcelain Condenser housing is half the size it once was, it's so thin now dog urine can eat through it within a year or 2.
