Sometimes heroism appears from the most unexpected quarters and makes for the most unexpected bonds, as thick as blood, between the most unlikely groups. Most Jewish people in Britain would not in a million years have anticipated that their man of the moment - and actually, man of the decade - would be the queer, pro-trans, Bowie-inspired pop star George Alan O'Dowd, known as Boy George.
Yet in our darkest hour, it is the name of Boy George which, like a talisman, starts so many of our conversations. We are so deeply sickened by the hellfire of lethal lies about the Jewish state - a hellfire seemingly being encouraged by a Prime Minister whose first major foreign policy statement in office was to vow to put more pressure on the Israeli government - that we are literally gasping for a friend.
By this, we mean someone who, against all the odds, gets it, and gets the depth of the insult and danger to Jews of all those lies. Who intuits the parallels with previous pogroms. Someone who, despite overwhelming pressure to believe the libels and the vicious falsehoods and false narratives about Israel (genocide, famine, IDF zest for slaughtering children and hospital patients, raping prisoners with dogs, settler-colonialism, apartheid), who, despite the profound moral sickness of almost every single one of his industry and...

Lord Walney, alleged sex 'pest' in the Times today calling for Bash Back to be proscribed. Geraldine Scott, in her piece about his piece in the same spread, invokes the murder of Ann Widdecombe, an offence a cis man has been charged over. Three in a row in this spread.
Palestine Action taught us cost of delayed response
Comment
Lord Walney
If Palestine Action showed us anything, it is that governments cannot afford to wait until direct action movements become entrenched before acting. For years we have heard the familiar refrain from militant activists that they are “non-violent”. Those words ring hollow when set against their rhetoric, imagery and tactics.

Political violence does not begin with an assault. It begins with the creation of an atmosphere in which intimidation is normalised, opponents are dehumanised and supporters are encouraged to believe that extreme measures are justified.

That is why the conduct of the militant transgender activist group Bash Back deserves far more serious attention than it has so far received.

This week a court was told that Ann Widdecombe was struck 21 times on the head with a hammer.

Nobody should prejudge proceedings that are active, and I make no suggestion here about who was responsible or why.Serious case for banning trans group, says ex-adviser
Geraldine Scott
Ministers should consider proscribing a militant transgender activist group which has targeted the offices of MPs, the government’s former adviser on political violence has said.

Writing in The Times, Lord Walney said the conduct of the group Bash Back “deserves far more serious attention than it has so far received” and that ministers should test it against the same threshold that led to the proscription of Palestine Action.

The transgender-led direct action group vandalised the office of Wes Streeting in July last year when he was the health secretary, and has pushed for a “new era of trans rage”.

The Times previously revealed that the group had produced a guide for members urging them to arm themselves and carry out repeated illegal attacks.Double page spread in the Times with 3 anti trans articles all in a row. The two detailed in the other screenshots of this post and one on Lib Dems shifting position on women after receiving a dnor from a supporter of trans rights

If you were to commit a murder,
