There’s also been some v popular music in recent years that’s kind of designed to be background, even people who are into it struggle to pick out memorable hooks as it’s about the ‘vibes’, so I do think we’ll see certain artists doing custom-AI stuff that basically extends their playlists

Another thing about fraternities is that the hazing rituals where slightly older young men would physically, mentally emotionally and sometimes even sexually abuse slightly younger young men have always disturbed and upset me greatly. And it’s really telling that I’ve seen men defend those too

Yeah if it’s too low res & client doesn’t have a better copy then you’re stuck with sharpening/upscaling to salvage it, hopefully whatever you’re using to edit has some options, or there are various standalone tools

Not quite sure what you mean, you’re going to have the same no. of rows of pixels. eg a 4K landscape video is going to give you 2160px vertically, enough for stuff like TikTok (but any defects/blurriness will be more noticeable vs viewing landscape on a phone)

They might have an effect just by constraining field of view - some VR games reduce view to a small circle when moving smoothly, worked well in Skyrim VR for the horse-riding bits

Hmm aren’t those for when you’re moving but can’t see it in immediate surroundings, so they provide the visual signals? (I get motion sickness with 3D games if I’m close to a big screen, getting further away definitely helps)
