Anyone successfully ordered anything from Momo Modular recently? A few weeks gone by with no signs of order progress, no responses to texts or emails. #modular #eurorack

“The president orders the military into the capital on an absurd pretense and illegally seizes control of the capital police force” is not a sequence of events that is remotely difficult to interpret, and it’s disgusting to watch our political and media class pretend to not know what’s happening

We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers. The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.

BREAKING: France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain & UK sign a joint statement vowing to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty & demanding a role in the peace talks. This is leadership. It’s also unprecedented. A western alliance is having to form against a new, twin & united threat: Trump & Putin.
WEIMAR+STATEMENT

FRANCE, GERMANY, POLAND, ITALY, SPAIN, UNITED KINGDOM EU HIGH REPRESENTATIVE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND SECURITY POLICY

We are ready to enhance our support for Ukraine.
We commit to its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia's war of aggression.
We share the goal to keep supporting Ukraine until a just, comprehensive and lasting peace is reached.
A peace that guarantees the interest of Ukraine and our own.
We are looking forward to discussing the way ahead together with our American allies.
Our shared objectives should be to put Ukraine in a position of strength. Ukraine and Europe must be part of any negotiations.
Ukraine should be provided with strong security guarantees.
A just and lasting peace in Ukraine is a necessary condition for a strong transatlantic security.
We recall that the security of the European continent is our common responsibility. We are therefore working together to strengthen our collective defense capabilities.

World - yesterday

As someone who grew up under an authoritarian regime, I can offer one crucial piece of advice: time is everything. If you don’t stand up now—if you don’t protest, resist, disrupt, and refuse to comply—you may lose your country forever. Authoritarianism thrives on silence, hesitation, and fear. The longer people wait, the more entrenched the regime becomes, making resistance exponentially harder. Every moment of inaction is a moment the regime uses to tighten its grip. History has shown that those who act early have the best chance of reclaiming their freedom. The time to fight back is now.

I have bricked both an M1 and M2 model on latest Ventura update by restarting the system while lid is closed. Black screens, no recovery. Configurator restore to Sonora only solution.

iOS definitely needs an option to enable/disable email accounts in Mail by schedule so you can auto disable work email between 5pm and 9am for example. Or a shortcut ability to do that. Guess Apple don’t want their employees doing that ;)
