A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. the camouflage mostly functions by giving institutions (school administration, in this case) an excuse to avoid scrutinizing the orgs in question. its already in their best interest to do that bc dealing with the rapes you enable takes time, effort and money

There is no good fraternity. No matter how much noise they make about being the good guys, about doing community service, about wanting to be the safe alternative on campus, it’s all camouflage that protects the predators among them, whether they think it does or not.
