Pellitory Beauty, Cosmopterix pulchrimella, is a relatively recent arrival in Norfolk (first seen in 2020) but has spread quite a bit since then - www.norfolkmoths.co.uk/micros.php?b... Despite Pellitory-of-the-wall being common around Norwich, these leaf mines were only the 2nd time I've found it.
A Pellitory-of-the-wall plant, upright stems with dark green leaves and knots of flowers along the stems. Latest figures from Defra show 8% of English farms produce 62% of output (ie food) from 33% of farmland. Conversely 11% of output is produced from 30% of land. There is no question that there is plenty of space for nature on English farmland. Yet we still hear "every acre must be maximised".

What a farce. As farmers fail to access funds to support sustainable farming, this will undoubtedly mean valuable wildlife habitat (recently created or much older) will be destroyed, as farmers feel they have no option but to intensify their farming systems. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Tall Rocket on recently cleared sand dune at Par Sands, Cornwall today. See ALT for evidence of its long-lived seed. Sisymbrium altissimum
Recorded here in 1901, 1910, then 1929 and nothing until 2025 when the dunes were cleared of scrub back to bare sand. Hundreds of S. altissimum then appeared evidencing a long-lived seed bank. They'll probably disappear again as the dunes vegetate over.
