HMS Hibernia was used as the flagship for the naval station at Malta from 1855 to her being sold for breaking up in 1902. Her timbers, covered in coats of paint from over 90 years, was used to fire the bakery ovens in Malta, leading to a severe outbreak of cases of lead poisoning. #NavalHistory
HMS Hibernia, a former 110 gun ship of the line, was used as the base flagship at Malta from 1855 to 1902. The Court-Martial for the loss of the Victoria was heard on her decks in 1893. She was broken up in 1903.

So the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition is not going very well They've sold far too many tickets and the space cannot cope with the physical number of people - how did they not do basic crowd flow/control calculations? Embarrassing that the British cannot organise a queue properly (Not my photo)

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

Building docks to build submarines. I think I’d prefer more money into Best Start (the revival of ‘Sure Start’) making universal credit less draconian, and some mayor-like initiatives such as some new bus routes, community and sports centres, library upgrades, even road and pavement repair.

Indeed. Trump rather let the cat out of the bag when he referred to "our fort". Very unhelpful... When I had a fort my mum insisted that I cleared it up and put it away after I had finished playing with it. Still a good general rule I think.
