Excellent thread! There *are* rewards for being A Good Guy Who Speaks Up even if they are not immediately obvious or publicly bestowed. First, integrity is its own reward. Maybe you didn’t save the world or change hearts & minds. But if you held the line on not making it worse, that’s something.

fun fact: one of the things that made me decide "no, I will get an actual diagnosis", rather than just assuming, was the subtitle of a thread about ADHD on the SomethingAwful forums because it hit so hard it hurt it was along the lines of "if you were lazy, you would be having fun"

Cancel your Nitro TONIGHT. No excuses. This plan IS significantly less horrible than the one they announced in February, but it is still an age verification system you cannot opt out of. That 8s unacceptable no matter how carefully implemented. And they know it, hence the sudden rug-pull.

**Lights Out Alert Sunday & Monday Nights** Birdcast is estimating 300-400 million birds will be in flight.

From meteorologist Eric Snitil

**Lights Out Alert Sunday & Monday Nights**

"Heads up birders, I would not be surprised if the biggest bird migration night of the year happens over the next 2 nights. Birdcast is estimating 300-400 million birds will be in flight. That is a lot, but the pattern could not be better for migratory birds. A massive area of high pressure will turn the low level winds from the northeast to the southwest across most of the US. The last time we had anything similar to this in the fall was early October last year when a record 1.25 billion birds were in flight. I doubt we get to that level, but I suspect the number will top 500 million especially Monday night which looks to be the bigger of the two nights. You can help by turning off those outdoor lights on big migration nights, and the next 2 nights is about as big as it gets."

You can’t have it both ways. You can’t be “It’s simple math, vote blue no matter who, grow up” and ALSO believe you are fighting fascism by making calculations as to who’s expendable. The world we’re in now demands more from us. More from everyone.

A Message from Maya... #store www.gofundme.com/f/help-maya-...

Hey, y’all. First of all, I want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and support you have shown us after we shared our predicament. Your kindness has truly moved me in ways I can’t even begin to describe. At the beginning of last week, this felt like a truly unsurmountable situation, but your support has given me hope.

That being said, we’re not out of the woods yet. Our recent skirt presales, giftcard sales and the GoFundMe have helped a TON but we are still facing a very scary October—and unfortunately not the fun Halloween kind!

Sales and donations have slowed down since last week, so while we have enough cash on hand to make our first few payments to UPS, we don’t have anywhere near enough to cover the entire bill.

To avoid this situation in the future, we’re planning to take on a new loan so we can place a large order of printed skirts that should arrive in time for the holidays, but that means we won’t have that money available to us to pay off UPS. We may also need to do presale on some or all of those skirt designs, but we’ll deal with that when the time comes.

The fact that we can even add this to our plans and look to the future in this way is a huge testament to how much you have already helped us.

What you can do to help us:

I know that for the vast majority of you, you have already made the purchases or donations that you are willing and able to do, and for that I cannot thank you enough. What we really need now is visibility. As a small business with not a lot of time or money on our hands, we rely almost entirely on word of mouth marketing. Sharing or engaging with our posts on your preferred social platforms helps immensely, and so does sharing us with your friends, family, and acquaintances in real life. If there are any creators out there that you think would like our size inclusive, ethically made clothing, consider recommending us to them! (Though please keep it chill and do not spam anyone)

To close this out, once again I just want to say how much I appreciate all the love and kindness y’all have shown us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Femdom gives @jovixen.bsky.social a sense of power and control, which she doesn't always get to feel as a woman in a patriarchal world! Find out how this sexy play started in the sheets and transformed her life in the real world. www.ohjoysextoy.com/drawing-powe...

Drawing Power From Femdom by Jo published 9/15/2026 on ohjoysextoy.com/drawing-power-from-femdom-jo

Jo illustrates in an elegant, cartoony style with a muted palette of lavender, browns, maroons, and sandy hues.

Two cisgender women sit at a bar, drinking their glasses of red wine.

"I'm so glad we finally found the time to hang out!" Laughingly exclaims one woman with tan skin and a short burgundy pixie cut. She wears a sheer long sleeve with a blue tank top and some earrings. "Life's been so hectic lately... Work is crazy busy, then I go home and feel like I'm drowning in chores... and when the heck am I supposed to run errands!?"

"Ugh, I know the feeling!" Jo agrees while taking a sip of her wine. She has light skin and long, light brown hair with bangs. She is wears a magenta colored dress, a few earrings, and a nose ring. "sigh. Who knew being young independent women would be SO hard? LOL!"

"I know you're joking, but seriously!" The short-haired woman continues. "I feel like I only get to truly relax on the weekends when I see my boyfriend. Let's just say he's been... exploring his dominant side lately, which has been GREAT for me." At the mention of her boyfriend, the friend flushes, pressing her palms to either side of her cheeks as she remembers her time with him. The background lights up with flames of desire and little pink hearts, and a caption over her head asks, "whew, is it getting hot in here?" Letting off puffs of steam, she adds, "It's like I finally get to turn off my brain for once and let him take the lead! But enough about me, what about you?"

"You're a dom, right? But you also work, just finished grad school, and do your art on the side... how do you have the ENERGY for it?"

"Haha!" Jo laughs. "Well of course you would say that as a huge sub! For me, being dominant just comes naturally... in many ways, it makes me feel empowered in my everyday life."

"Oh, tell me more!" Her friend encourages.

When people say they’re anti-AI, they’re clearly talking about generative AI in the arts and LLM slop that C-Suite jackoffs want to use to replace them. You know this. I know this. Everyone knows this. So the “then don’t use spellcheck if you hate AI” talking point is disingenuous horseshit.
