People have been misspelling and mispronouncing my surname for as long as I can remember. I would imagine it happens to Sean Fennessey, too, like in this Reddit post. As for the pronunciation, just recall that immortal line, "I drink up all the Hennessy ya got on ya shelf," and you'll be golden.

On the Rewatchables ep for this movie, Fennessy makes the point that working with Ballhaus and having Schoonmaker on the team for After Hours basically invents the Scorsese style as we understand it today, and rewatching it this time I was struck by how different it feels stylistically from his earlier stuff. The camera and editing are so much faster!
