in love with Edward G Ulmer's set design for Boris Karloff's Satanic altar in The Black Cat (1934) because to me it looks like a black and white version of a Barbara Kasten installation and you know she is my SHIT 😍
Shot of a modernist altar with Boris Karloff standing behind an angled rectangular form atop a raised geometric platform, with huge mirrored shards behind him.Barbara Kasten work with angled triangles and other geometric shapes, in grey, blue, and yellow.Shot of the same scene from a different angle, so you can see more mirrored pillar shapes surrounding the altar.Barbara Kasten work with a grouping of slender pyramids against sheet metal forms, lit with red, pink, and green hues.

Borrowed a few more cds from the booth for my car, including two I used to own and am kicking myself for thoughtlessly letting my whole cd collection get donated after my mom sold our old house, why did I do that

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...
A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is. Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

A squirrel is standing inside and peeking over the top rim of a hollowed out pumpkin. The top of the pumpkin can be seen behind. The squirrel is wearing a slouchy black witch hat with orange stripes and holding a squirrel-sized chef knife. The knife is because the squirrel has carved the words ‘MAYBE IT WILL HAPPEN’ in the side of the pumpkin and in the ground in front the word ‘TODAY’ has been spelled with stringy orange pumpkin guts with seeds scattered all around.
