It’s really difficult to understand past ways of life without having a good sense of the ways people did ordinary, banal things like ‘the shopping’. Labour history gets heaps of attention, and consumption at the material-archaeological end does too. But *how* did people shop? Who shopped? Where?

Some humans have a subconscious nasal cycle. This means they breathe primarily through only one nostril, which changes every 2hrs. if only one of your nostrils gets blocked at a time when you have a cold, this is why. if you focus, you can also feel which one is "active" at any given time.

Many public transport timetables are written as though nobody wants to travel on Sundays. Some routes don't even run. In truth, travel demand is similar to Saturdays. More routes running on Sundays, and running more often means more people can use the network seven days-a-week.
