transphobes using money and power to bully little kids is absolutely no different from mobs turning up to intimidate refugee families, and you should treat anyone who so much as excuses either of these things with complete contempt

If you think that the current state of trans healthcare in the UK is because of concern or caution, I'd encourage you to think again. It's not medically informed, it's a reactionary response to transphobic bigotry whipped up into a frenzy over the past few years. And it costs lives.

Kair Starmer simply cannot continue as Prime Minister. He is entirely unprepared for this political moment, and is handing the country to Reform on a platter. No matter your politics, you would have to be a fool to support this inept man as PM.

It is over for the genocide deniers. Even the BBC is now splashing on the UN commission of inquiry concluding that Israel has committed genocide. Those who supported Israel's onslaught: You backed a genocide. You will never scrub the shame away.

The "debate" over trans rights as conducted in our newspapers and on social media is deliberately designed to give the impression of an overwhelming consensus in favour of trans exclusion and hate. Let this be a reminder that that impression is a false one. The motion passed *unanimously*.

Bridget Phillipson is running to become Labour's deputy leader. In her woeful response to the Supreme Court ruling, in her appointment of the overtly anti-trans Mary-Ann Stephenson as chair of the EHRC, and in her regular meetings with hate groups like Sex Matters, she has proved herself unfit.

Is there like a BBC Bitesize for a blood test? Like how do you study for it? If you fail do they just take all your blood away on the spot or is there a grace period to get your affairs in order? I'm freaking out.

This EHRC guidance is designed to push trans people out of public life, making it nearly impossible for them to leave their homes. And this onslaught doesn't just hurt our trans siblings. Cis women who don't conform to gender stereotypes are already under attack too. UK Ministers must reject it.

Yet transgender people are so dehumanized in society, casual abuse of us so normalized, that if the victim is trans? Then cisgender people don't even seem to recognize what would plainly be sexual harassment and attempts at sexual humiliation if the same abuse had been directed at them.

I was going to suggest that the latest flaggy image of Mr Starmer was probably photoshopped by someone who is hostile to Mr Starmer, but tbh you could say that about any image of Mr Starmer. It seems quite possible that the man only exists as a collage of hostile Photoshopped images of himself.

Fundamentally, we must acknowledge that the people who stirred up anti-trans prejudice don't have "reasonable concerns" and have no interest in any compromise that lets trans people "live their lives with dignity and in a safe and accepted way". That's the very opposite of their goal.

The message is very clear: if you are trans in the public sector, we're coming for you. And it will be funded without limit. The questions no reporters are asking is what is the limit? Are trans persons allowed to work in ANY job? What about non-binary? Should there be limits on other LGBTQ ppl?

JKR is funding life-destroying legislation. When you license HP and put it on your product, the money you pay to do that is literally ruining lives. This isn't ambiguous, it is direct, measurable harm. I will never give a penny to a company who chooses money over the lives of my friends.

Spot the difference between these two headlines. Another example of the BBC's so-called impartiality? Burning an effigy of migrants is not "contentious"; it's a xenophobic & racist act being investigated as a hate crime! #BBC #BBCNews #moygaschel #bonfire #racism #xenophobia
A screen capture of two news articles about the Moygaschel bonfire burning an effigy of immigrants in a boat. Both articles feature a photo of the burning effigy atop the bonfire. On the left the BBC News article uses the headline "Moygaschel: Contentious bonfire set alight", whilst on the right the Independent uses the headline "Hate incident investigation after bonfire topped with migrants effigy lit in Northern Ireland"

Saw Tyler the Creator last night and it was fucking incredible, but I can't help feeling that live music with prerecorded instrumentation just lacks the depth you get with a live band? Turning up the bass super high obviously tries to compensate for this but there's got to be a better way about it?
