Emi Sakura's post about PAC is breaking my heart

The first time I spoke with him was in Ireland in 2018. When you're living in an English-speaking country, Japanese suddenly reaches your ears in a startling way. Our conversations always started with his "Otsukaresamade-su." Backstage, I wouldn't sense his presence at all, but then those words would arrive right by my ear like the wind. And so I'd search for him. There's no English phrase that translates it just right—its meaning encompasses hello, long time no see, glad to see you, good work, goodbye, good night, see you later, and all sorts of other things rolled into one. I think it's the kind of greeting that comes from the way he's confronted pro wrestling in Japan. It's time. As always, I grab my bag and climb into the car. I can't believe the show goes on. Today and from here on out, forever, I know I'll keep straining to listen. Thank you, PAC.

So pretty much all of the Showa era stuff, minus OG, is available on Blu-Ray from Discotek or will be soon. They do get a little pricey, $60-80 per series, but I’ll take the peace of mind that they won’t suddenly get pulled from streaming
