I mostly remember Nadesico as a fun TV series that was very enjoyable. And then it kept going, and it got less fun. I still like the TV series at least. Don't really like that Super Robot Wars just keeps using Prince of Darkness whenever they revisit it instead of the TV series.

Yeah, an underappreciated part of Sega's weird ass history is that the Sammy merger kept them alive but also made their business decisions less horrible. Not "good" but at least with Sammy on board they weren't making as many horrifying wild swings because an executive got jealous at a Namco project
