I’ve interviewed a lot of victims of digital harassment. I’ve experienced it firsthand too. One of the hardest parts is that the normal people stay silent. The harassers are gleeful in the violation of your boundaries and no one else is saying anything. It makes it feel like everyone hates you.

There is a cottage industry on that other site of people in official government legal jobs affirmatively misstating or misrepresenting what rulings are about and then expressing surprise that anyone could possibly disagree. Just the latest example—from the Solicitor General of Iowa:
