a big part of ossoff's rhetorical success is it doesnt contain the compromise and caveats that are a baked-in part of democratic party rhetoric. theres no pretending that his opponent is just misguided or will be pulled back from the edge by "the good republicans." ossoff is saying "fuck this guy"

The AltGov account ostensibly representing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been wandering down an increasingly grim path over the last several months. This account has always had an edgier-than-thou streak, but repeatedly saying you'll totally shoot cops is new.

AltNOAA claims to be "armed to the fucking teeth" and says "whoever puts the cuffs in me is going to step over the bodies of their buddies to do it."

AltNOAA again says that if the police come after his family, "the arresting officer will step over his dead friend to make the arrest."

I love being Minnesotan. Somali people have built a community here over 30 years. They are an integral part of Minneapolis and nearly every suburb surrounding it. I have coached Somali high school students, I have seen them grow into adults and start families. They are Minnesotans just as much as me

According to Google there are about 111,000 persons of Somali ancestry living in MN out of 5.8 million folks. That’s about 2%. Over half of those were born in the U.S. And we certainly aren’t letting any more in at this point. Minnesota isn’t being “taken over”.
