The Phantom of Heilbronn, also referred to as the Woman Without a Face, was a presumed female serial killer whose existence was inferred from DNA evidence found at 40 crime scenes across Austria, France and Germany from 1993 to 2009.

In March 2009, investigators concluded that the supposed serial killer did not exist, and the DNA belonged to a woman who worked at a factory that made the cotton swabs used for collecting DNA samples

Who, Me? was a top secret, sulfurous, non-lethal chemical weapon developed by MIT-graduate Ernest Crocker for the U.S. Office of Strategic Services during World War II.[1][2] Who, Me? smelled strongly of fecal matter, and was issued in pocket atomizers intended to be unobtrusively sprayed on a German officer to humiliate him and, by extension, demoralize the occupying German forces.[3]

Who, Me? had a high concentration of extremely volatile sulfur compounds that were very difficult to control: more often than not, the person who did the spraying also ended up smelling as bad as the one targeted.[4] After two weeks, it was concluded that Who, Me? was a failure.

Bribery was more of a thing when dynasties held seats for ages. Since sometime between public primaries in the 70s and campaign finance changes in the 90s/00s it's easier to buy a seat for a stooge than buy a stooge who has a safe seat

obviously a fucked up situation from pretty much every conceivable angle, but the “what are you gonna do, stab me” principle remains undefeated
He also, per the affidavit, said: "Let's see if the FBI is going to to show up at my door because I'll shoot them motherfuckers too." Other transcribed statements include "I'm going to be a murderer one day" and "One day I'm going to turn into that person just like the people you see on the fucking videos on YouTube where they fucking run up to the police officer and they have no reason at all and then they make the police kill them. I'm gonna be that guy."

Florida cop hitting on a high school girl at a restaurant asked her if she wanted to see a dead body. He was subsequently arrested. floridadaily.com/two-pinellas...
During another encounter at the restaurant, Stanton reportedly asked the teenager whether she wanted to see a photograph of a dead body from an unrelated law enforcement call. She declined.

A sheriff’s office phone Stanton was carrying inadvertently recorded a 17-minute conversation between the two, Gualtieri said.

The girl filed a formal complaint with the sheriff’s office Aug. 26 and told investigators Stanton’s advances made her uncomfortable.

Coworkers reportedly described Stanton as “a little flirty” with the teenager. The sheriff said Stanton also referred to her as his “queen” when speaking with other deputies.

Let's remember that v2 of Facebook, after the "yearbook hotornot" v1, was the social network/event RSVP thing specifically so his "friends" couldn't plan parties and "forget" to invite him anymore, he'd know where and when the parties were happening and just show up. So many consistent themes

Spider dreams guaranteed
Got these for a transatlantic flight from Seattle. Took effect about 20 minutes from consumption. I slept for about 4 hours and continued to use them to adjust to the timezone change. Every night I had the same dream about a spider wrapping me in a web very tightly and speaking backwards. It seemed very scared and was furious I could not understand what it was trying to say. 20 years passed in the dream world and eventually the spider and I became close friends and four years later we were married. Understandably our differences were too much and our relationship fell apart from the inside. My infidelity was the last straw and we never recovered from the betrayal. I would always wake up write before we signed the divorce papers. I had this same dream every night for 6 days. Great product. Highly recommend.
