The polls are very close in half a dozen key states. A small uniform miss could have a big impact on Senate control. Democrats are a normal polling error away from 54+ Senate seats — or just 50 www.gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-10-15...

I took my students to the Fisher Rare Book Library at U of T to see some of their Toronto collection. Look at this beautiful artist book by Liz Menard of the Don River. She calls her press Skunkcabbage. Beautiful thing. (The Fisher is public. Anyone can access.)

An iridescent bird with dark blue on its head and tail and shades of purple on its back stands on a thin branch. It has round yellow eyes and is vibrant against a lush green background.

The monotony of the playbook – the same things, in the same sequence, every time – is boring ➡️ Fabricate nonsense ➡️ Flood the zone with nonsense ➡️ Nonsense is debunked ➡️ Say the nonsense didn't matter b/c points were made Idk how sentient adults aren't bored to tears of this after a decade+ now
Tweet from TPUSA spokesman @AndrewKolvet on 11 October 2026 @ 8:50pm EDT, regarding James Talarico. Text reads: "It genuinely doesn't matter if it was a mental health hospital or the flu. Bailing on the biggest job interview of your life by disappearing for two weeks is damning enough all by itself."

I prefer it when Nobel Prize for literature synchs up overwhelming talent with eccentricity or obscurity. Bob Dylan seemed a gratuitous choice. Murakami both doesn't need it and increasingly writes bad women characters. Anne Carson in the spotlight is great. I find her work oblique in a good way.
