The €1bn spent on fossil fuel sinces April would have put 8kw battery & solar on 100,000 homes buying them energy freedom for 20+ years. The €1bn+ that will be spent over the next few months would bring that to 250,000 homes. What we lack is will and vision

If you HAD to point to one recent programme that has had a hugely positive impact- especially for rural communities - Local Link buses. And OFC the roll out of new routes has slowed to a trickle - they'll be cutting that next

First on the scene to a single vehicle road accident this morning. A car had basically gone straight off the road on a bend. Hardly a skid mark, just straight through saplings, hit rocks and finished upside down. Paramedics could find no occupants. Hopefully they walked had away Just slow down.
