I love Jack Smith. He has no further f***s to give and hasn’t for some time. He’s like a movie hero made flesh. Elliot Ness made out of pure integrity and granite.

I was very gripped by The Wargame on Sky but was not expecting it would copy exactly the ending of a larger budget US movie from earlier this year. Just saying.

At Blarney Castle gardens. If you’re going to design a tower like this and forbid climbing then what’s the point. Seriously?

Hey #speirgorm has anyone tried the Murphy’s 170 special edition? Whiskey-barrel matured and you can taste it, and packs quite the kick at 8.5% alcohol. Like your pint and chaser in one.

Enjoying reminding my drummer son that Larry Mullen’s famous note said “Drummer seeks musicians to form a band”, not “other musicians”. What do you call someone who hangs around with musicians? A drummer.

Many academics, in my experience, tend to think of themselves as Very Important People but I discovered today that those in Denmark actually have an absolute right to call themselves VIPs (videnskabeligt personale, which translates to scientific or academic staff)! Who knew?

I just completed a (mandatory) online course at work which has awarded me a certificate of AI proficiency. In the assessment I had to build an AI Agent. I couldn’t do it but asked AI to write a plausible looking paper on how I had built an agent. I can’t decide whether this was cheating or not.
