Off the top of my head: 1 - Under no circumstances buy a new build flat 2 - People will constantly throw out red flags about themselves if you pay attention (See: "I'm a nice guy") 3 - If someone says "I am led by my ethics/jesus" etc. then dont get in a position where they can ever owe you money

Letter to John Swinney regarding #Kneecap from Show Israeli Genocide the Red Card.
Text: "Dear Mr Swinney,

We write to you regarding your much reported comments on Irish band Kneecap and your opinion that they should not be allowed to play at Glasgow's music festival TRNSMT.

In your own words, you're 'not very familiar with this group' so perhaps you can be forgiven for not being aware that Kneecap, as well as uniting communities in Ireland, have been a steadfast support for Palestine and despite opposition and smear campaigns, that you have unwittingly become a part of, have raised huge amounts of money for those who have suffered at the hands of Israel and their relentless campaign of terror.

SHOW ISRAELI GENOCIDE THE RED CARDText: "What is not so forgivable, Mr Swinney, is that you have shown more outrage at Kneecap than you ever have about the genocide taking place in Gaza. We call upon you to rectify this and to end Scotland's investment in arms.

Thank you Kneecap for being the voice of the oppressed you music and activism will for all of history. from Gaza

We would also encourage you to speak up on the following acts that will be playing in Glasgow in the next few months, who have said and done some truly reprehensible things. We know that you would not want to stay silent on these after your comments on Kneecap.

SHOW ISRAELI GENOCIDE THE RED CARDText: "Chelsea Handler - 25th May. Handler has appeared

in a social media video defending Israel's most recent and horrendous attacks on Gaza.

Morrisey 4th June. Morrisey, who has broken BDS guidelines to play in Israel, proudly donned a Maccabi shirt at one gig for Israel. They are a vehemently racist team whose fans regularly chant 'death to Arabs.'

Disturbed

28th October. Lead singer David Draiman has proudly signed bombs being sent to Gaza and uploaded images of this to social media, as well as his meetings with IDF soldiers.

SHOW ISRAELI GENOCIDE THE RED CARD"Text: "After your outspoken views on Kneecap, we would welcome you speaking out on these acts, which are just a few of many who are still defending Israel's genocide and apartheid in Palestine and are given a platform in Scotland to air these views. We know you would not want to miss the opportunity of speaking out on this, or perhaps you can join our protests outside of these gigs.

We also encourage you to have a discussion with us about the sportswashing of Israeli war crimes through Israeli representatives taking part in sports competitions in Scotland. We have written to you about this before but received no reply, but since you have publicised your views on deplatforming Kneecap we are sure that you would wish to set the public straight on your views on the platforming of Israel through sporting representatives also.

We look forward to your response,

Show Israeli Genocide the Red Card

I hate to broadcast this on social media, but I know l am not alone when I candidly state that l am losing the will to live. In my 53 years, I have never known a time when I could not locate a semblance of hope until now. It's only a feeling, but an

@remembrancewatch.bsky.social Saw this Remembermobile while out for a stroll earlier.
A white Renault Kangoo van. The rear doors have been rememberafied. The left door has a silhouette of an American soldier, judging by the rifle, kneeling before a cross shaped headstone. What looks like an American M60 type heavy machine gun rests against the stone with a helmet on top. Above a selection of WW2 era aircraft silhouettes complete the tableau. The right hand door has "We will remember them" with a couple of poppies and two more aircraft silhouettes for maximum respect. There is also a random strand of black spaghetti under the word "them". The side of the van is visible and has a black and a blue stylised "tribal" dragon head design on it, this may or may not be in rememberence of Smaug, or perhaps Idris the dragon out of Ivor the Engine.

Two banners

First banner reads:

Welcome to the Great Experiment

250 years of American invention - a story still in the making

Two hundred and fifty years ago, America made a bet: that ordinary people with extraordinary ideas could build a nation unlike any before. That bet is still paying off.

The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention presents this exhibit in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce - home of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the institution that turned creative freedom into economic fuel.

At the Cade, we believe so deeply in thinking and acting like an inventor that we gave it a name: Inventivity.® This exhibit is brimming with it.

The race is well underway, but it's never too late to jump in. So gear up, strap in, and take a lap

GEORGE WASHINGTON April 30, 1789 - March 4, 1797
