None of it is a distraction. They want to gut Medicaid + they want to fire federal workers + they want the SAVE act, + the third term. Whether or not they can get any or all of it is up to us, and that doesn't include sitting around trying to parse out what they "really mean." They're telling us.

What to do if ICE shows up at your workplace. An FAQ resource guide for employers and their staff.

THE ONLY THING THAT CAN FORCE YOU TO INTERACT WITH ICE IS A SIGNED JUDICIAL WARRANT.

Your first step is to read it thoroughly. If you need an interpreter the agents are required to provide one to you.

STAY VIGILANT.

Sometimes, ICE agents try to use an administrative warrant to enter the premises. But an administrative warrant does NOT allow agents to enter private areas without your permission. Administrative warrants are not from a court. They say “Department of Homeland Security” and are on Forms I-200 or I-205.

STAY CALM.

Do not run to the exits.

This will make things worse because ICE agents can say that people who are running are likely violating immigration laws.
