Between 2015 and 2025, at least 15 children in an Idaho faith-healing sect died of treatable conditions. State law allows that to happen: Parents who say their faith prohibits giving their children lifesaving medical care can’t be prosecuted.

Idaho Law Protects Faith Healers. It Wasn’t Always That Way.
From at least the 1880s through the early 1970s, it was illegal for parents in Idaho to choose prayer over medical care when a child’s life was at stake.

The "update" circulating from Texas State reps Terri Leo Wilson and Lacey Hull about the 504 lawsuit is such trash. 🧵 1. First off, "don't worry, our AG only interprets it as harming trans kids!" is not a flex! Our 👏🏼 liberation 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 intertwined 👏🏼
