So maybe wasn't too off thinking of Dark Crystal/Labyrinth/Neverending story! A Japanese user on Bad Place pointed out it looks like an old NHK Puppet movie of the three musketeers, and Takaya Imamura (invented tingle lol) gave it a nod. So maybe based off of puppetry? which LOVE if true! #zelda
