This is 100% old man shouting at clouds stuff but I miss when you'd buy furniture and furniture would show up. Not a Lego set with a thirty page instruction manual that will eventually become the furniture after you spend an entire day building it.

There is a general smell to New York City. Don't get me wrong, I love it here and it will always be my home. But the smell is like someone cooked a dish of pure success and the city is a skillet where all the burnt bits and oils are left over. It isn't a good smell, but you get why it exists.

So I did a thing. I haven't painted in acrylic in a long time. A very long time. Maybe ten years? More? This is an Orange King Zinnia. My supplies were pretty limited but it was still such a wonderful experience. I'm going to be doing more painting, I think. I have some thoughts on the next one.

Currently studying some new animation software. The real challenge is starting from square one when you feel like a capable creative. Sometimes you have to be humble and admit you need to go through the whole process. Something I'm learning about for all aspects of life.
