In the Netherlands, acceptance of LGBTQ+ people has dropped sharply among Dutch youth. This is part of a worldwide trend where LGBTQ+ rights are increasingly under pressure. This cartoon was published in Dutch newspaper @trouw.nl on September 25.

The villagers of Piddington are objecting to about 1,250 men being accommodated at the nearby base. When it was a military base there were about 2,600 personnel there, around 1,100 military and 1,500 civilian. I don’t recall ever having heard of similar stunts there when it was a military base…

This is very disappointing, farage’s shine clearly hasn’t yet worn off in parts of Norfolk. The only positive thing about it is that it is only two years until the post of PCC is abolished: #Norfolk #PCC #NorfolkPCC #reformuk
