100%. For those unfamiliar, Van Halen had a line in their rider that essentially said “no brown M&Ms.” It was a way to see if the promoter had actually read the contract. So, I did a thing. I made some zines and they are for sale! PDF is $5 a piece. I’ll include a diagram for construction you just have to print it out. If you want physical copies mailed to you it’ll be $10 for the diy and $15 for the perizine, plus shipping.

I decided to make a new book sleeve. So far I have the pieces cut and pinned. One of the flap holders is sewn together for the most part and I have the button strap done. Still have the other flap and the whole body to sew, then sashiko for strength and beauty.

Dealing with the "assistance" programs is just as much a stressor, and in some cases more, as going to the doctor.

I think people don't realize just how easy it is to fall off the edge of the world. Until I was disabled, I really had no idea just how difficult itis to access the safety net. And that once you fall into any of the many cracks (chasms) it's damn near impossible to get out.
