that's so sad to hear about Pac, and he was only 40? that's so young. i went to a dynamite in 2022 and was right up close ringside and saw him wrestling OC and was so so so impressed with him seeing him wrestle up close, seeing all the intricate details of his movements

There was a period of time in the 00s-10s where it felt like high flying was advancing so quickly. The next "it" Guys were topping the last every couple of years. And then Pac came along and in some aspects he hasn't been topped. This doesn't seem real. We saw him a day ago.

Someone was talking about PAC being stoic at meet & greets on Twitter, so it reminded me of this anecdote.

Small child in red flannel and blue jeans standing next to PAC with long hair, wearing black AEW hoodie and shorts. Both are wearing facemasks.

Nolie met PAC at a Dynamite, when AEW was still doing preshow meet and greets.

They both looked each other up and down. Then PAC stoically says “How is your day, little child?”.

When it was picture time, he plainly said “Stand with me in battle” to Nolie.

It was perfect.

I am stunned and saddened by the shocking news that Benjamin Satterly, 40, who wrestled as PAC has passed away. An incredible athlete. He could fly, grapple and go toe to toe with anyone in wrestling. I loved his intense precision. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

I love country. Steve Earle was on a four or five album streak of greatness, starting with I Feel Alright. Son Volt’s debut is so dope, I haven’t bothered with the rest of their catalogue. Even though I heard the word “darkies” in the Louvin Brothers song “Alabama,” their harmonies kill me.
