We drove part of the blue route last month, J24-J26. Rethinking to avoid the levels but use former steelwork land might be feasible. Aim to reduce the pinchpoint rather than increase capacity overall; current route keeps one tunnel as a road, one for active travel www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk...
