These are "facts". How we address these facts is "policy". Supporting, opposing, encouraging, banning, controlling...all done through policy. "Politics" is discussing policy. I think politics shouldn't be primarily discussing people. I suggest asking people what policy they are considering.

Yeah "guy on the internet" is currently staring at two pieces of private land on the Seine that prevent a public river corridor, while he does his protected area work that he's been doing as a job across Canada for more than 20 years. It's in the Little Forks Urban National Park proposal.
